Suing the past: Climate lawfare takes aim at World War II contracts

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear a case on Jan. 12 regarding a climate lawfare case involving oil extraction by private companies during World War II, which has resulted in judgments approaching $1 billion in Louisiana, highlighting the importance of neutral forums and the threat of unscrupulous trial lawyers to public-private partnerships.
