A Redfin survey reveals that 74% of U.S. residents earning under $50,000 struggle with housing costs, with 25% skipping meals to make ends meet. Many in this income bracket are cutting back on dining out (43%) and vacations (36%), while 25% borrow money from friends or family and over 20% delay medical treatments.
